The Opportunity
Covering the South of England, you will be responsible for managing a territory generating significant levels of inbound enquiry while also developing new business opportunities within key target sectors. Approximately 80% of your activity will be focused on key accounts and incoming project enquiries, allowing you to spend your time understanding customer requirements, conducting site visits and developing tailored technical solutions. This is not a catalogue sales role. Success comes from understanding customer processes, identifying challenges and delivering bespoke project-based solutions. Typical project values range from £35,000 to £80,000, with sales cycles usually lasting between two weeks and three months.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop customer relationships across the South of England.
- Respond to and convert incoming project enquiries.
- Conduct customer meetings and site surveys.
- Understand manufacturing processes and operational challenges.
- Develop technically appropriate filtration and extraction solutions.
- Prepare and present commercial proposals.
- Manage projects through the sales cycle from enquiry to order.
- Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and CRM records.
- Deliver territory sales and profitability targets.
- Identify new opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
- Work closely with engineering and project delivery teams to ensure successful project handovers.
