We are currently working alongside one of the UK’s leading suppliers of automated conveying and material handling systems into the intralogistics sector. They develop bespoke solutions from concept through to finish. After securing more contracts from their already existing clients for more work, they are looking to increase headcount to match the demand.
About the role:
This role is a fantastic opportunity for anyone wanting to maximise their earning potential as well as being able to work with the latest automated machinery and expand their skill set. Our client will ensure you are trained on all aspects of the role, whether it be mechanical or electrical, as well as upskilling you in a customer-facing role.
Responsibilities will include:
- To service, as well as ensure the smooth running of equipment within its warranty.
- To ensure all reactive call outs are completed within 24 hours.
- Covering the UK and being able to work in a pair to resolve any practical issues.
- To be a subject matter expert on the equipment and to be able to explain any issues to the customer.
- To be happy to work on-call every 1 in 6 weeks from Saturday to Friday.
About you:
- Being able to work in a mechanically biased role, whilst being able to LOTO and safely isolate.
- To be educated to a minimum of a Level 2 in an Engineering field.
- To understand elements of health and safety within an automated intralogistics environment.
