We are recruiting for a Workshop Engineer to join a rapidly growing engineering business in Warrington. The Role
As a Workshop Engineer, you'll be responsible for servicing, repairing and overhauling a wide range of centrifugal pump systems used across the building services, industrial and wastewater sectors.
- Servicing, repairing and overhauling centrifugal pumps
- Mechanical and electrical fault finding
- Diagnosing and repairing pump systems to a high standard
- Reading and interpreting electrical, hydraulic and mechanical drawings
- Completing workshop-based repairs and testing equipment before dispatch
- Working safely while maintaining high-quality workmanship
About You
To be successful in this role, you'll ideally have:
- Previous hands-on experience servicing, repairing or overhauling pumps
- Ideally experience with a pump manufacturer, pump distributor or pump service company
- Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills
- The ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic and mechanical drawings
- An NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, BTEC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
