We are seeking an experienced Technical Designer – Revit to join a leading international design studio on a contract basis, supporting the delivery of immersive museum and visitor experience projects across the US and Middle East. This is an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile cultural and experiential environments, contributing to technically detailed and creatively ambitious projects.
Project Timeline
- June 2026 – November 2026: Support role on a major museum project based in Chicago, USA.
- November 2026 – February 2027: Support role on an international maritime museum project in the Middle East.
The Role
Working closely with multidisciplinary project teams, you will be responsible for producing and coordinating high-quality technical drawing packages in Revit, with a particular focus on fit-outs, bespoke cabinetry, and visitor experience environments. You will play a key role in supporting technical design development and ensuring drawing accuracy across complex international projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce and coordinate detailed technical drawing packages in Revit
- Support technical design development across multiple project stages
- Develop detailed cabinetry and bespoke joinery solutions
- Collaborate with internal design and project teams internationally
- Maintain high technical standards and drawing accuracy
- Assist in resolving detailing and coordination challenges throughout delivery
Key Experience Required
- Strong technical design background with advanced Revit proficiency
- Experience delivering fit-out projects, detailed drawing packages, cabinetry/bespoke joinery detailing, retail or shop environments, museum, exhibition, or visitor experience projects
- Minimum 2 years’ experience focused on cabinetry/cabinet work detailing
- Excellent technical coordination and communication skills
- Ability to work independently within a collaborative team environment
Working Arrangement
Flexible hybrid working available, ideally 2–3 days per week in the studio. Flexibility can be considered depending on the individual, including 1 day per week attendance and periodic monthly studio visits for the right candidate.
Contract Details
Contract / Freelance position, start date: End of June 2026, duration: Approximately 8 months across two international projects. Immediate interview availability preferred.
