Electrical Maintenance Engineer – Leicester
£40ph Umbrella
3 Month Contract
Immediate start
Panama Shifts (3 on 2 off days and nights) 12-hour shifts
The day-to-day responsibilities of the Electrical Maintenance Engineer:
- Carry out maintenance activities, including Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM).
- Prioritize and respond to electrical breakdowns to ensure continuous plant operation.
- Replace and install electrical equipment such as PLCs, isolators, contactors, and three-phase motors.
- Perform fault-finding and diagnostics on PLC control systems.
- Undertake basic mechanical tasks where required, including like-for-like replacement of components such as valves, seals, and bearings.
You must possess the following skills to be considered for this role:
- Must have NVQ LV3 Electrical qualification or equivalent
- Must have 5 years or more experience in automation
