We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join a growing business on a contract basis. This is an urgent hire, and our client is looking for someone who can hit the ground running.
You will need at least 2 years' experience in electrical design along with having excellent knowledge and experience with EPLAN.
Key Responsibilities of the Electrical Design Engineer:- Producing electrical drawings using EPLAN
- Creating and managing Bills of Materials (BOMs) using Excel
- Adding required electrical components to machinery designs
- Liaising closely with the shop floor and wider engineering teams
- Supporting risk assessments and maintaining electrical safety compliance
- Minimum 2 years' experience within electrical design
- Ability to produce accurate electrical drawings independently
- Experience creating BOMs in Excel
- Understanding of Risk Assessments, Electrical Safety, EN 60204, ISO 13849
