Location: Within 30 miles of Feltham
Salary: £50K per annum + Overtime + Van included
Hours: Monday–Friday 7am–4pm, with overtime at time-and-a-half; weekends and bank holidays at double time
Contract: Permanent after 3 months

As part of this ongoing expansion, they are now looking to strengthen their team with the addition of a talented Field Service Engineer. Key Responsibilities
- Mechanical Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical faults in pumps and associated systems.
- Install, replace, and commission mechanical components such as pumps, bearings, seals, couplings, and valves.
- Assess pumping systems for efficiency improvements or necessary upgrades.
- Perform mechanical alignment, balancing, and fitting of pump systems.
- Work safely in high-pressure and reactive maintenance environments.
- Assist in refurbishment, retrofits, and system enhancements.
- Inspect, test, and maintain electrical components of pumps, including motors, starters, variable-speed drives, and control panels.
- Carry out electrical fault diagnosis, repair, and replacement on-site.
- Wire and connect pumps to power supplies, ensuring compliance with electrical regulations.
- Collaborate with mechanical teams to deliver fully integrated pump solutions.
- Liaise directly with clients to understand problems and provide on-site solutions.
- Keep accurate records of work completed, parts used, and system performance.
- Maintain tools, vehicles, and equipment in good working order.
- Follow all company procedures, health & safety standards, and relevant regulations.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Proven experience in the service of mechanical and electrical components in pumps.
- Strong fault diagnosis and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team under pressure.
- Knowledge of building services systems: heating, chilled water, air conditioning, and pressure boosting.
- Experience in reactive maintenance and emergency call-outs.
- Relevant mechanical/electrical qualifications or apprenticeship preferred.
