A large-scale automated distribution operation is looking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join its established engineering team. This is a highly reactive maintenance role working across a busy automated facility containing conveyors, cranes, sortation systems and warehouse automation equipment.

The Role

  • Reactive breakdown maintenance across automated distribution equipment
  • Fault finding on conveyors, cranes, drives, rollers and automated handling systems
  • Working safely within panels using multi-meters and electrical drawings
  • Supporting PPMs and engineering projects when required
  • Responding to plant breakdowns quickly within a fast-paced operation

What We're Looking For

  • A recognised engineering qualification equivalent to a Level 3 or above (NVQ, City and Guilds, BTEC, ONC, HNC etc.)
  • Previous experience within manufacturing, automation, logistics or production environments
  • Ability to work safely both mechanically and electrically
  • A proactive attitude with strong problem-solving ability
