ATA Recruitment are proud to be working with a Global automation company at one of their resident sites in Chesterfield. The company manufacture, design, install and commission all of the automation on their customers' site. The site in Chesterfield is 3 years old and has had nearly £10 million worth of automation invested on the site. With a focus on innovation and continuous improvement, there is ongoing investment on the site.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for managing a team of 3 engineers
- Be a key point of contact on site with the customer, including attending meetings and being an escalation point
- Manage spare parts including usage, inventory levels, repairs, receipts, replenishments, and ordering
- Confidently jump on the tools for any breakdowns that need escalating
The candidate:
- Is a strong communicator with some sort of leadership experience
- A recognised engineering qualification (Electrical is desirable)
- Confident in managing relationships with the customer and attending meetings
