My client is looking to appoint a Site Manager for an initial 6-month contract. My client is a specialist contractor providing proactive and reactive on-site installation and service solutions to unit and materials handling systems within live operational airports. Reporting into the Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for operations and running of the site overseeing the installation of baggage handling systems and integration.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Installation of conveyors (baggage handling) with some small structure
- Mechanical and electrical planning of scaffolding - civils
- Planning of logistics
- Organising and planning workforce
- Giving instructions to skilled engineers and operatives
- RAMs β ensuring systems are working properly
- H&S on site
- Isolation procedures on site
