About the Role:

My client is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their dynamic team at a leading manufacturing facility. This role requires a hands-on approach, ensuring all equipment and machinery operate at peak efficiency. If you are a problem-solver with a passion for engineering and a knack for diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical systems, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot 3-phase motor control systems, including start/stop, variable speed, and directional control using both AC and DC inverter drives.
  • Some experience with Siemens and Mitsubishi PLC's, programming, hardware integration, ladder logic.
  • Experience in using EPLAN to amend and create electrical drawings.
  • Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues promptly and accurately.
  • Execute repairs and modifications to improve equipment reliability and performance.
  • Collaborate with the production team to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and update documentation as required.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company standards.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Must have a minimum NVQ Level 3 either Electrical or equivalent.
