The Company: My client is an international manufacturer who has been established for over 50 years. They are a cash-rich profitable firm with the UK alone turning over £100 million. They are in need of a mechanical bias maintenance engineer to complement a 24/7 production site. They employ circa 3,000 people in over 70 locations globally and run a highly technical FMCG manufacturing environment with an array of complex kit producing to a variety of sectors including food and beverage and e-commerce.
As the Mechanical bias Maintenance Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the maintenance of all machinery across the plant operating a permanent night shift.
Key duties for the Mechanical bias Maintenance Engineer:
- The machinery on-site is designed specifically for their industry, making it one of the few capable of manufacturing specialist products.
- Our client offers an incredibly detailed training plan to ensure your confidence and success in the role.
- Your day-to-day will include:
- Maintaining an organized PPM schedule.
- Handling reactive maintenance tasks.
- Preparing handovers and shift reports.
- Ability to read, interpret and markup drawings.
