Maintenance Engineer (Electrical bias), £54,054, Old Leake, Boston, 4 on 4 off D/N, 7am till 7pm. OTE of plus £60,000 thanks to overtime (paid at £29.07 per hour). Bi-annual company bonus scheme. Sign on bonus, plus extra after probation of 3 months.

We are recruiting for a maintenance engineer to join a large, well-invested site. £24 million has been invested recently updating existing machinery and implementing new production lines, increasing production by 50%. This is a high-performing facility with state-of-the-art machinery and an experienced engineering team. You'll benefit from an excellent rota that allows for regular long weekends off while earning a strong base salary and enjoying long-term job security.

The Role

As a maintenance engineer, you'll work with a range of machinery including: This role places a strong emphasis on both electrical and mechanical maintenance and repair. Experience fault finding via PLC is also needed.

The Person We're Looking For

To succeed in this role as a maintenance engineer, you'll need:

  • A strong background in maintenance within manufacturing environments
  • Experience working on both mechanical and electrical components whilst abiding to H&S regulations
  • Confidence with strip-downs, rebuilds, and reactive maintenance
  • An NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in engineering (ex-Forces welcome)
  • A proactive attitude and flexibility for overtime and development
