The role of Mechanical Design Engineer will involve working amongst a large, established team to deliver on a consistently busy order book. Solely responsible for 3D CAD modelling on Solid Edge, you will be involved in producing complex solutions for a wide-ranging customer base.
The Mechanical Design Engineer will:
- Produce detailed 3D CAD models on Solid Edge, including designs, general arrangements, and production drawings
- Develop and maintain efficient design workflows to support project delivery
- Validate designs to ensure accuracy, compliance, and manufacturability
- Manage and update production documentation throughout the design lifecycle
- Provide occasional support for conceptual design development and installation activities
