The Company
ATA Recruitment are proud to be working with a leading UK manufacturer in the FMCG industry, the manufacturing process covers the full production cycle, from converting raw materials into the creation of finished products. Customers include some UK pharmaceutical businesses and a wide range of solutions for major customers across the food industry. Operating at a large scale, the facility is capable of producing over 4 million units a day processing approximately 30 tonnes of material daily while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and sustainability.
They are looking for a Maintenance Engineer to join their team onsite, with a culture you don't want to miss out on. With a team from various backgrounds, the team has seen a major increase in quality and are looking to add.
The Role
- Be responsible for attending breakdowns on machinery on site including Thermo formers, Extruders, Conveyor Systems, Robotics, Stackers and more.
- Be responsible for ensuring all PPMs sent to your tablet are fulfilled to maintain the high quality engineering and uptime on site.
- Work on your own and as part of a team including fellow engineers and a site lead.
- Work electrically and mechanically on various components as well as getting involved in project work to help improve the site.
The Candidate
- Has a recognised engineering qualification.
- A strong communicator to work with fellow engineers and operators.
- Has experience working in a manufacturing environment (Desirable).
- Is comfortable lone working but also working in a larger team when required.
