As a Commissioning Engineer, you will be responsible for commissioning and supporting site-based control systems and equipment, working to tight deadlines while maintaining exceptional standards.
Responsibilities:
- Commission PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
- Support and supervise installations on-site
- Identify and resolve commissioning snags efficiently
- Ensure all work complies with NICEIC standards
- Provide hands-on technical support during installation and commissioning phases
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years’ hands-on experience in electrical installation, service & support, or commissioning
- Strong understanding of electrical diagrams and control panel wiring
- Recognised electrical qualifications (C&G, BTEC, NVQ Level 3, ONC, HNC/HND)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Experience with PLCs (e.g., Allen Bradley or Siemens)
- Experience with NICEIC certification assessments
- Control panel design and panel building experience
- Experience in equipment installation and commissioning
