About the Role
My client, a global leader in what they do, is looking for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their Site Engineering Team. In this role, the position focuses on keeping all machinery and site equipment in optimal condition through reactive works to routine servicing, fault repairs, and carrying out mechanical and electrical works. The aim is to ensure reliable equipment performance while upholding high standards of product quality and health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities for a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- Reacting and prioritising any machinery breakdowns.
- Carry out a full range of planned maintenance and repair activities to maximise equipment reliability.
- Maintain plant and equipment in line with legislation, HS&E standards, group procedures, and business requirements.
- Follow preventative maintenance routines and ensure all tasks are completed and recorded accurately.
- Monitor equipment performance and work with the engineering team to identify and eliminate recurring issues.
- Engage in Root Cause Investigation (RCI) activities to drive continuous improvement.
Requirements of a Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer
- To have a minimum of a NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical engineering.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a continuous improvement mindset.
- Ability to work collaboratively across teams.
