We are recruiting for a maintenance engineer to join a large, well-invested production facility. Performing both planned and reactive maintenance. This is a high-performing facility with state-of-the-art machinery and an experienced engineering team. You’ll benefit from an excellent rota that allows weekends off and no night shifts and enjoying long-term job security.
As a maintenance engineer, you’ll work with a range of production machinery including:
- Packing machinery
- Chopping Slicers
- Forming machines
- Extruders
Your focus will be 40% reactive and 60% PPM. You’ll need to be confident working with both mechanical and electrical components.
To succeed in this role as a maintenance engineer, you’ll need:
- A background in electrical and mechanical maintenance
- Experience working on both mechanical and electrical components
- Confidence with strip-downs, rebuilds, and reactive mechanical and electrical fault diagnosis
- A qualification in electrical or mechanical discipline
- A proactive attitude and flexibility for overtime and development
