This is a multi-site manufacturing business that invests heavily in the site and its engineers. The site is automated and full of complex machinery and equipment to test your engineering skills. They are currently looking for an experienced maintenance engineer to help support operations keep the factory running effectively.
Responsibilities
- The maintenance engineer will be conducting both planned and reactive maintenance across a busy manufacturing plant.
- You will be fault finding on mechanical and electrical systems.
- You will be looking at proactive maintenance opportunities to eradicate repetitive faults and get to the heart of machine failures.
Qualifications
- A suitable maintenance engineer for this role will be qualified to NVQ 3 in mechanical or electrical engineering as a minimum.
- You must be multi-skilled and be comfortable working on mechanical and electrical faults on a daily basis.
- Experience maintaining complex industrial machinery on a manufacturing plant is really important for this position.
