We're working with a long-established manufacturing business who supply bespoke, high-value equipment to some of the world's leading companies. Due to continued growth, they are looking to add experienced multi-skilled engineers to their team. This is a varied, hands-on role — 75% of your time will be based at their facility with the remaining 25% split between UK and international travel, visiting client sites across the globe.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Electrical testing, installation, commissioning and servicing of specialist equipment
- Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings
- Working with control panels, sensors and pneumatic systems
- Mechanical fitting and assembly work
- Travelling to client sites internationally — destinations in the past have included China, Spain, Singapore, the Netherlands and more
The Package:
- Base salary £34,000 – £45,000 (structured progression based on skills and experience)
- OTE £50,000 – £60,000 with generous overtime rates
- Monday – Thursday 7am–4pm, Friday early finish
- Pension, life assurance and meal allowance
- Training and development fully supported
What We're Looking For:
- Electrical background essential — City & Guilds Level 2 minimum
- Industrial manufacturing, panel wiring or forces background all considered
- Comfortable reading schematics and fault finding
- Pneumatics knowledge useful
- Flexible and happy to travel occasionally
