Self-Employed Delivery Driver (Multi-Drop)

Depot Location: Edinburgh, delivering and collecting parcels from lockers in KY, FK, EH postcodes

Start Date: ASAP

Pay: £116 per day

Contract: Indefinite/Flexible – Full-Time, 6 days per week

What we\'re looking for:

We’re looking for self-employed drivers to join our Parcel Locker delivery team.

What the role involves

  • Collect parcels from the depot and load the van efficiently
  • Deliver to and collect from lockers at shops, supermarkets and garages
  • Scan all items before delivery or collection using handheld device
  • Handle locker issues, like full or faulty units, and report problems
  • Return to depot with collected items and complete delivery records
  • Maintain daily route and vehicle check logs
  • Complete end of day forms

Our Vans:

    • Valid UK, European, or International manual driving licence
    • 12 months of UK driving experience
    • Max 6 penalty points (some endorsements not accepted – see below)
    • For our vans: We can’t accept certain licence endorsements (e.g., TT, CD, DR, DG, AC, BA, MS)
    • Our vans are fully insured for both business and personal use, and come taxed, MOT’d, and ready to drive.

Other:

    • You must be eligible to live and work in the UK
    • Unfortunately, international students, who aren’t allowed to work self-employed can’t apply
    • All drivers must be reliable, with strong communication skills and a positive, hard-working attitude
    • Other requirements might vary depending on individual circumstances and client compliance
