Due to continued growth, we're looking for an experienced
Machine Shop Supervisor / Leading Hand to lead our machining team and help drive the next stage of our business.
About the Role
- This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll be responsible for:
- Leading and mentoring a team of machinists and apprentices.
- Planning and coordinating daily workshop activities.
- Operating and overseeing horizontal borers, vertical borers and CNC equipment.
- Maintaining high standards of quality, safety and productivity.
- Driving continuous improvement and developing workshop processes.
About You
You will have
- Experience with horizontal and vertical boring.
- Previous leadership or Leading Hand experience.
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings and machining practices.
- A proactive attitude with a focus on quality and teamwork.
