UWA is making significant investments in Information Technology Services to enable its strategic direction and goals. Robust, flexible, integrated and secure enterprise platforms are critical to supporting teaching, learning, research and professional services across the University.

The ServiceNow platform is a strategic enterprise service platform that supports service management, workflow automation, operational excellence and digital transformation initiatives across the University. The platform delivers critical capabilities across multiple service domains and requires ongoing technical leadership to ensure its security, scalability, reliability and alignment with enterprise architecture standards.

About the opportunity

  • Lead the technical design, administration, configuration, security and ongoing operation of the ServiceNow platform.
  • Provide technical leadership, governance and stewardship to ensure the platform remains secure, reliable, scalable and aligned with University objectives.
  • Develop and maintain the ServiceNow platform architecture, technical roadmap, engineering standards and technical practices in partnership with Product Owners and stakeholders.

About you

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent competency.
  • Substantial experience leading enterprise platform engineering, application development or technical operations teams in large and complex environments.
  • Extensive experience designing platform architectures, technical solutions and systems integrations across complex enterprise environments.
  • Demonstrated experience establishing technical standards, engineering practices, governance frameworks and operational procedures.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and mentor technical staff through performance management, coaching and capability development.
