We are seeking a Business Development Manager to lead the growth of the Oliver brand across WA. This role is responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of customers, increasing market share, strengthening customer partnerships, and delivering outstanding customer experiences throughout the region.

About the Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of 100+ customers across WA while identifying opportunities to increase market share and drive sustainable sales growth. This role combines territory management, business development, and account management, with a strong focus on building lasting customer relationships and delivering exceptional service. You will work closely with distributors, end users, and key decision-makers to understand their needs, promote the Oliver range, and provide industry-leading safety footwear solutions.
Success in this role will come from your ability to build trusted relationships, execute an effective territory plan, identify growth opportunities within existing and prospective accounts, and consistently achieve sales targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive sales growth and achieve budget and market share targets across WA.
- Manage and grow an established portfolio of customer accounts.
- Build strong relationships with distributors, end users, and key decision-makers.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities within existing and prospective accounts.
- Promote the Oliver range through customer meetings, product presentations, and site visits.
- Introduce new products and support customers with tailored footwear solutions.
- Maintain a structured call cycle to maximise territory coverage and customer engagement.
- Deliver exceptional customer service and work collaboratively with internal teams to resolve customer needs.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, activity reporting, and sales forecasts.
About You
You are an energetic and commercially minded sales professional who thrives on building strong customer relationships and delivering growth within an established territory. To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in Business Development, Territory Management, Account Management, or Field Sales.
- A demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and growing customer accounts.
- Experience managing a large customer portfolio and working within a structured sales territory.
- Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience within safety products, industrial products, footwear, workwear, PPE, wholesale distribution, or a related B2B industry will be highly regarded.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify and convert growth opportunities.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Outstanding organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage priorities effectively.
- Experience using CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- A current Australian Driver's Licence.
