Senior -> Principal Recruiter – Data, AI & Cloud – Base £37k–£60k (Dependent on Experience)

This agency partners exclusively with leading VC firms to place top-tier talent across Data, AI, Software Product and Cloud. Founded 15 months ago, they have already billed $1m in their first year and are on track to hit $2.5m this year. With a team of high performers and a founder who is personally billing $700k+ YTD, this is a business built on results, not noise.
They only work retained or exclusive – no clients who won’t sign, no chasing people who don’t reply within 48 hours. The average deal size sits at $40–50k with a time-to-fill of 30–45 days. One of their recent hires billed $120k in their first 7 weeks.
They are now looking for experienced 360 recruiters to join them as they scale toward 20–30 heads and cement their position as the go-to partner for their US VC network.
The Details:
- Markets – Data, AI, Software Product, Cloud (US & UK)
- Commission – 25%–45% depending on level and seniority, paid monthly
- Retained fee structure at 20%
- MacBook
- Quarterly trips to the US (NY/SF)
In this role you will get:
- Retained work from day one – every consultant gets handed a live retained role immediately
- A founder who is hands-on, coaching-focused and invested in your development
- External L&D support including a leadership coach twice per week and monthly sessions with an ex-Phaidon trainer
- Flexible working hours – start between 10–11am, finish between 7–8pm. 4 days in office, (down to 3 after probation)
- A results-focused culture – KPIs measured on output, not desk time
- A clear path to Principal, Senior Principal, AD and Director
- Office in the City
