Principal Consultant | I Work with Top Billing Recruiters in London
Delivery Consultant – High-Growth Search Firm
Marylebone, London | £30,000 – £40,000 + Commission (up to 22.5%)
A fast-scaling search firm is looking for a driven, switched-on Delivery Consultant to join their growing team in Marylebone. The business is sector-agnostic but does most of its work in high-growth tech (startups, scaleups), with some retained mandates in hedge funds and crypto finance. With £2–3m in live pipeline and 70–80 roles open at any given time, there’s no shortage of work — but they need people who can deliver, fast.
The Business:
- Team of 5, targeting 6–7 by year-end
- Revenue has doubled every year for the last 3 years
- 17 placements in engineering so far this year (Head of, EM, CTO)
- Live mandates with traders, PMs, researchers
- Historically contingent, but moving towards retained — already brought in an advisor
- US-heavy client base (70%), with the rest across Europe and London
The Role:
- Pure delivery — no cold BD, all warm clients and roles ready to fill
- Support two experienced consultants, one billing over ÂŁ200k and another recently joining from Reload
- Work across a broad client base: crypto, fintech, healthtech, edtech, hedge funds, and more
- Find candidates, manage the process, secure starters
- Work 3–4 roles at a time, prioritised weekly
- Learn on the job — they’ll teach the details, but you need to be sharp and proactive
Who They’re Looking For:
- 1–4 years of recruitment experience (Tech or Commercial roles)
- Someone mouldable , but confident enough to hit the ground running
- Self-starter mindset – this is a scaling team, not a lifestyle business
- Hungry to progress — delivery now, potential to run a team in 2–3 years
- Comfortable working full-time in-office (Marylebone), occasional flexibility possible
- No ego, no wideboys — articulate, ambitious, and switched on
- Willing to stay late when needed – they’ll match the energy
- 9am–6:30pm (Mon–Thurs), 9:30–5:30 (Fri)
- Monthly pub nights, quarterly dinners, regular team meals when working late
- Health insurance
- No dress code
- Clear commission structure (up to 22.5%)
- Equity potential down the line — employee options pool as the business scales
