An established search firm operating in the US ERP space is looking to hire an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join their growing team. The business was founded by two proven recruiters with over 20 years’ combined experience in building high-performing technology recruitment teams.
The founders previously built one of the most successful NetSuite teams in the UK – a £3m NFI division of 12 people – before launching their own business in early 2024. They now focus on ERP markets, working mainly across the East Coast of the US.
Since launching, the team has already generated over $500k USD (£375k) in NFI this year, with a strong client base, quick turnaround times (around 20 days to fill), and an average fee size of $26k USD. They work on around 75% retained or exclusive assignments, with a strong reputation for delivery.
The founders are highly data-driven and relationship-led – they know what inputs lead to results and offer structure without micromanagement. Training is hands-on, with proven frameworks, video materials, and day-to-day guidance from experienced mentors.
They’re looking for consultants who want to build a niche, relationship-focused desk – ideally with 2+ years’ recruitment experience in a white-collar market (Tech, Finance, Legal, or similar). You don’t need ERP experience, just the mindset to specialise and run a tight process.
The role suits someone who:
- Enjoys autonomy but values structure
- Is motivated by quality, not volume
- Has a process-driven approach and day plan mentality
- Wants to work in a collaborative, high-integrity setup
The firm has plans to hire 2–3 people before Christmas and expand again in early 2026. There’s flexibility around where you work – whether remote, Exeter-based, or using a WeWork. They meet quarterly as a team.
Package
- Base salary: £30,000–£45,000 (DOE)
- Commission up to 40%, with accelerators and quality bonuses
- Additional incentives (Christmas profit share, retained/exclusive kickers, personal milestones)
- Clear progression path – opportunity to lead or build a desk
- 10am–6:30pm (flexible management of your hours)
- Supportive, grown-up culture that values balance
