Responsibilities

As a Night Public Area Attendant/Cleaner at Sloane, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various public areas within the hotel during the overnight shift.

Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute to the overall guest experience and satisfaction.

  • Maintain cleanliness in public areas such as the lobby, corridors, elevators, restrooms, Bar and Restaurant ensuring they are tidy and well‑maintained.
  • Regularly perform high‑level dusting in the restaurant, bar, and reception area as instructed by your supervisor.

Take extra care when cleaning delicate materials, furniture, and plants.

  • Conduct thorough cleaning of public area bathrooms and staff changing rooms using specialised cleaning agents.
  • Perform deep cleaning in the staff canteen and on the floors.
  • Dispose of any waste from the premises and perform deep cleaning in the designated rubbish area when necessary.
  • Dust high areas, including mirrors and portraits, throughout the hotel.
  • Restock supplies in pantries: Monitor and replenish supplies in public areas, including towels, toiletries, and amenities, to ensure guest comfort.
  • Report maintenance or repair issues in public areas promptly to the appropriate department for resolution.
  • Work closely with the housekeeping team to ensure a seamless transition between shifts and maintain cleanliness standards.
  • Follow all hotel policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations, to provide a safe and pleasant environment for guests.

  • Previous experience in Housekeeping, preferably within a 4/5* hotel
  • Confidence & professionalism when interacting with high profile guests
  • Good command of the English language, spoken and written
  • A self‑starter and team-player
  • Flexible to work weekends and holidays.
