What Will I Be Doing?
As a Barista, you will bring a genuine passion for coffee, outstanding customer service skills, and experience working within a fast‑paced café, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environment. Your primary goal will be to create memorable guest experiences through the preparation and service of high‑quality beverages and food offerings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of specialty coffees, teas, and other beverages to the highest standards.
- Demonstrate excellent product knowledge and confidently recommend beverages and menu items to guests.
- Ensure all drinks are prepared consistently and presented in line with company standards.
- Maintain the cleanliness, organisation, and presentation of the coffee station, equipment, and service areas.
- Assist with stock replenishment and ensure adequate supplies are available throughout service periods.
- Adhere to all food safety, health and safety, and hygiene regulations at all times.
- Receive and check daily bar deliveries, ensuring stock is accurately accounted for, stored correctly, and any discrepancies are communicated to the relevant departments.
- Support the wider Food & Beverage team in delivering exceptional guest experiences.
What Are We Looking For?
- A natural ability to anticipate guest needs and deliver exceptional service that creates lasting impressions.
- A positive, motivated, and enthusiastic attitude, with ideally at least 1 year of experience in a similar role within a café, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality setting.
- A genuine passion for coffee, quality products, and outstanding customer service.
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, espresso‑based beverages, and café operations.
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in spoken and written English.
- The ability to remain calm, organised, and efficient in a fast‑paced environment.
