What will I be doing?
- Assist the Front Office Manager in the administration and management of all Front Office Operations while ensuring a smooth operation of our hotel, providing exceptional service to our guests, and managing a team of dedicated staff members.
- Be a positive and motivational team player who leads by example and supports the team in achieving a high level of service.
- Uphold the highest standards of customer service, ensuring that guests have a memorable and luxurious experience.
- Ensure fast and efficient check-in and check-out processes for guests by personalising the experience and using their name.
- Arrange amenities with accurately addressed welcome cards before arrival, maintaining them daily, and promptly handling any arrangements for these guests.
- Maintain updated guest profiles to have accurate information about their needs and preferences.
- Familiarise yourself with daily operations, assist with VIP arrivals, and coordinate guest services daily, including pre-arrival emails, VIP reports, personalised guest experiences, room inspections, special room setups, amenities coordination, welcome letters, welcome gifts, room escorts, follow-ups during their stay, goodbye emails, post-stay follow-ups, etc.
- Be aware of possible VIPs arriving or visiting the Food and Beverage outlets, ensuring they are met and escorted to their destination.
- Act as a representative of higher management in their absence.
- Ability to cover night shifts and assist with other duties as needed during holidays, absences, and shift coverages.
- Proactively ensure that guests respect our good neighbourhood policies.
What are we looking for?
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role within a luxury property (pre-opening experience is highly desirable).
- Previous experience with Guestline PMS is an advantage.
- Leadership skills to effectively manage and motivate the team to achieve a high level of service.
- Has good command of the English language, spoken. French language skills are much appreciated.
- Strong work ethic, agility, and clarity of thought, with the ability to complete tasks and meet deadlines under pressure, despite interruptions.
- Willingness to have a flexible working pattern to fit in with the needs of the business.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
