We have a fantastic opportunity for a paralegal/legal assistant to join our Corporate and Commercial team. The role will support and participate in client work undertaken by the team and is a full-time, office-based position in Chester, working Monday to Friday from 8:45 am to 5:15 pm.

The Role
Applicants should have a strong interest in Corporate & Commercial law, providing services to owner-managed and SME businesses, from startups to established companies planning growth or exit strategies.
This is a graduate-level entry role, with a law degree not mandatory. The successful candidate will gain experience in areas including:

Responsibilities
- Maintaining files using our case management system (Leap);
- Handling calls and client inquiries efficiently and politely;
- Preparing and managing correspondence, including letters and emails;
- Prioritizing tasks and ensuring smooth office operations;
- Providing excellent customer service and handling client relationships sensitively;
- Recognizing and escalating potential client issues;
- Conducting client ID and identity checks;
- Preparing legal letters and invoices;
- Managing files and archiving;
- Upholding professional standards, confidence, and integrity.
