We have an excellent opportunity for a full‑time Post Completion Assistant to join our busy and friendly Conveyancing team. This role is central to ensuring a smooth and efficient post‑completion process for our clients, lenders, and internal teams.

Based in our Chester office, this position is ideal for someone with strong administrative experience and an interest in property, or someone already working in conveyancing who is looking to develop their skills in a supportive, people‑focused environment.

The Role

As a Post Completion Assistant, you will ensure all essential post‑completion work is completed accurately and within required timeframes. You will work closely with our conveyancers, lenders, clients and the Land Registry to support a seamless end‑to‑end client experience. This is a hands‑on, detail‑focused administrative role, ideal for someone who enjoys process, organisation and providing excellent service.

Responsibilities

  • Preparing and submitting SDLT returns and ensuring payments are made within required deadlines
  • Preparing and submitting AP1 and other Land Registry applications
  • Managing requisitions and responding to Land Registry queries promptly
  • Updating internal case management systems and maintaining accurate records
  • Liaising with clients, mortgage lenders, solicitors and internal teams
  • Tracking post‑completion milestones and ensuring all tasks are completed within service standards
  • Filing and opening/closing files in line with compliance and regulatory requirements
  • Supporting the wider Conveyancing team with administrative tasks as required
  • Ensuring a positive and efficient experience for all clients following completion

Skills

  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and case management systems
  • Ability to manage multiple deadlines
