We have a fantastic opportunity for an HR Administrator to join our growing team. You will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day administration of our HR processes. Based in our Chester office, this role is ideal for someone early in their HR career, or an experienced administrator looking to transition into HR.

The HR Administrator will support the employee lifecycle from onboarding through to offboarding, ensuring that HR processes are followed accurately and consistently. You will work closely with the Head of People and act as a key point of coordination with our external HR support company. This is a hands‑on, administrative role focused on accuracy, organisation and delivering a positive employee experience.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating onboarding and offboarding processes, including right‑to‑work checks
- Preparing and maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems
- Supporting recruitment activity, including interview coordination and candidate communication
- Assisting with absence, holiday and probation tracking
- Preparing HR correspondence and documentation as required
- Supporting performance review and appraisal processes
- Acting as a first point of contact for routine HR queries and signposting where appropriate
- Handling confidential and sensitive information with discretion
- Supporting people initiatives, engagement activity and HR projects
- Contributing to the smooth and effective running of the People function
Skills:
- Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail
- Clear and professional written and verbal communication
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Microsoft Teams
- Ability to prioritise tasks and manage competing deadlines
- Integrity and professionalism when handling confidential information
- Previous HR experience is desirable but not essential. Full training will be provided for the right candidate with strong transferable skills and a genuine interest in developing a career in HR.
What we do for you:
Our biggest asset is our team, and we pride ourselves on looking after you. Salary: £25,000 – £28,000 per annum (we expect to appoint within the lower to mid‑range of the band unless candidates already have strong HR experience) Competitive salary with entitlement to profit share after 6 months. 25 days of annual leave plus.
