Join our employee owned law firm and play a key role in supporting our busy and friendly Residential Property team. We’re looking for a full time skilled and motivated Conveyancing Audio Typist & Administrator to provide high‑quality typing support alongside essential administrative tasks. This is a full‑time hybrid role, offering the flexibility to work from home while preferably spending one day per week in our Chester office to collaborate with the team and support office‑based workflows. Responsibilities
- Provide accurate and efficient digital audio typing for our conveyancing solicitors and fee earners
- Prepare, proofread and format legal documents, letters and forms relating to residential property transactions
- Manage incoming dictations and prioritise your workload effectively
- Support the team with wider administrative tasks, including file management, client correspondence, data entry, scanning and general office duties
- Maintain accurate records within our case management system
- Ensure a high level of confidentiality, professionalism and attention to detail in all work
What we’re looking for
- Strong experience in audio typing (conveyancing or legal experience is an advantage)
- Fast, accurate typing skills with excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills and a proactive approach
- Confidence working independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and manage deadlines
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office and case management systems
