The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Curator (Exhibitions) to join our team due to a retirement. The post is for 36 hours and is a permanent contract. Your days of working Monday – Friday but will flex to meet the business needs and this will include weekend and evening working.

You’ll work as part of a team to curate & co-curate, install, and evaluate high-quality, relevant, and engaging exhibitions, displays, activities, and resources throughout Fife’s Museums & galleries. Working with local communities, individuals, and organisations to promote and inspire interest in heritage and cultural services.

You’ll help with the delivery of OnFife services and contribute to the ongoing development of OnFife.

About You

We are looking for a dynamic, innovative and experienced exhibitions curator. You’ll have 3+ years relevant Museums/Gallery exhibition experience with skills including research, loans, collections management & care and design. You’ll have experience interpreting collections for diverse audiences using physical/digital methods. You’ll have collaborative approach to working with community groups and building strong partnerships. And hold degree level qualification in a relevant professional discipline.

You should be willing to have a PVG check this will be paid for by OnFife as part of your induction.
