Location: St Andrews Castle and Cathedral

The Visitor Experience Supervisor position is a new role, supporting the development and delivery of exceptional visitor experiences.

As the Team Leader for Visitor Experience Assistants, you will play a key role in delivering the highest standards of service to our visitors. This role sits within the Visitor Operations Directorate.

We are seeking someone who enjoys engaging with diverse groups, has a passion for customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. You will ensure the site’s presentation is exceptional, work closely with your Monument Manager to create a seamless visitor experience, help organise day-to-day operations, and ensure the delivery of key performance indicators.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Core Visitor Experience Assistant duties and supervisory tasks
  • Selling admission tickets and retail products
  • Processing online bookings, cash handling, and sharing the history of the site with visitors
  • Cleaning, grounds maintenance, compliance, and stock management

As a supervisor, you will also be responsible for ensuring the health, safety, and wellbeing of both staff and visitors, maintaining a safe environment in line with all relevant policies and procedures.
