Glasgow Science Centre are seeking a proactive, motivated Technician to join our Facilities team. The Facilities Technician will play a key role in planning and completing a range of planned maintenance works and carry out installations and preventative and corrective maintenance to the building systems.
You’ll be flexible in your working approach, taking ownership and accountability for inspections and remedial repairs to the required standard. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable knowledge and experience in a multi-skilled maintenance role, particularly in relation to electrical and mechanical maintenance services.
Using initiative you’ll deal with issues as they arise and carry out repairs and inspections adhering to health and safety requirements. Please note regular weekend and on call cover will be a requirement of this role.
