Join the Fruitmarket team now and bring your leadership skills. Fruitmarket is looking for a café / restaurant manager to continue growing our successful catering offer. We are seeking an outgoing, ambitious manager with experience managing a team in a full table-service environment. The ideal candidate will be guided by improving the guest experience and developing our team. Reporting to the hospitality manager, this is a service-leading role with a requirement to complete administrative tasks in line with the café’s needs. Fruitmarket’s cafe is popular with our exhibition audiences and with busy commuters, local residents, and tourists.
Responsibilities
- Lead the cafe/restaurant team and manage service in a full table-service environment
- Focus on improving the guest experience and developing the team
- Report to the hospitality manager and perform administrative tasks aligned with the café’s needs
- Cover hours during regular opening times (9am–6pm, 7 days a week) and participate in events outside these hours
- Be available for 5 days from 7 each week, with a 40-hour week inclusive of breaks
