As PR Specialist, you’ll play a key role in how the UK discovers and talks about ASUS, Republic of Gamers (ROG) and ProArt — from major product announcements to the creative partnerships and stories that shape the conversation.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communications + Launch Planning
- Lead the UK PR strategy and quarterly planning across ASUS, ROG, and ProArt in collaboration with marketing and product teams.
- Act as the UK’s go-to contact for PR, maintaining alignment with HQ and regional PR, KOL, and go-to-market teams.
- Keep a clear view of global release schedules, embargos, and announcements; aligning all with internal and external stakeholders.
- Manage the full PR launch process for new products, from announcement planning to post-launch reporting.
- Handle NDA agreements and early media briefings under embargo, from one-to-one media sessions to coordinating larger UK briefing events.
- Localise global press releases and assets, turning them into compelling UK stories that resonate with specific audiences and media segments.
- Develop smart pitch strategies to secure strong coverage across technology, gaming, lifestyle, and national media.
- Support at major global launch event platforms, such as CES and Computex, representing ASUS to UK media and coordinating coverage opportunities.
- Media & Creator Relations
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with media and creators, from journalists and reviewers to leading tech YouTubers and influencers.
- Manage media enquiries, interview opportunities, and spokesperson briefings to ensure every interaction represents ASUS at its best.
- Develop and deliver impactful influencer and KOL campaigns that bring products to life, from selecting creators with the right audiences to co-creating authentic content that drives awareness and engagement.
- Oversee the product review program: forecasting demand, ordering units, preparing devices for review, and tracking media sentiment.
- Liaise with marketing to license awards or endorsements for retail and campaign use.
- Represent ASUS at UK media and awards events to maintain visibility and strengthen relationships.
- Agency & Budget Management
- Manage the relationship with the UK PR agency, providing clear direction, feedback, and oversight as their primary contact.
- Oversee agency retainer budgets and project funding, ensuring responsible use of resources and measurable outcomes.
- Collaborate with HQ and UK marketing leads on budgets for launches, events, and creator activations.
- Reporting & Insights
- Define and track PR KPIs in consultation with the Marketing Director and agency partners.
- Monitor coverage, share of voice, sentiment, and competitor activity, turning data into meaningful insight.
- Share highlights, learnings, and market trends across the UK team to inform marketing, sales, and product strategy.
- Crisis & Reputation Management
- Identify and flag potential issues that could affect brand reputation.
- Work with HQ and the PR agency to prepare and implement response strategies when needed.

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in PR, communications, or media relations, ideally within consumer technology or lifestyle products.
