What You Will Be Doing
  • Deliver high-quality, inclusive teaching on Motor Vehicle courses at various levels
  • Act as a Programme Tutor to a designated group of students, monitoring attendance, behaviour, and academic progress
  • Develop and update lesson plans, schemes of work, and assessment materials
  • Embed Maths and English skills into sessions where appropriate
  • Embrace digital teaching tools and contribute to a creative, dynamic learning environment
  • Provide academic and pastoral support, contributing to the wider student experience
  • Engage with industry contacts to ensure curriculum relevance and support student progression
  • Contribute to recruitment activities such as open events, taster days, and information evenings
Who We Are Looking For
  • A Level 3 qualification (or higher) in Motor Vehicle
  • Industry experience in a motor vehicle environment (essential)
  • A recognised teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one (funded by the college)
  • Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths
  • Excellent subject knowledge and strong communication skills
  • A team player with a commitment to safeguarding and supporting learner success
  • Assessor/IQA qualification is desirable, or willingness to achieve
