Job Advert: Electrical Installations Tutor

Location: Rotherham & Birmingham (2-week rotation at each centre)

Package: Full expenses paid (travel, food, and accommodation)

Salary: £35,000 – £45,000

Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent

About The Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Electrical Installations Tutor to join our growing training team. This is a unique role involving a 2-weeks Rotherham / 2-weeks Birmingham rotation, with all expenses covered to support your travel and time at each location.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, structured teaching sessions to Level 3 apprentices in both practical and theoretical environments.
  • Teach short courses, including 18th Edition (BS 7671) and 2391 Inspection & Testing.
  • Carry out on-site assessments to evaluate learner competence and progress.
  • Provide coaching, support, and feedback to apprentices to help them achieve their qualifications.
  • Maintain accurate learner records, assessment documentation, and portfolios.

Essential Qualifications & Experience

  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installations (or equivalent).
  • 18th Edition (BS 7671) qualification.
  • 2391 Inspection & Testing qualification.
  • Industry experience in electrical installation.
  • Ideally, experience teaching or assessing 18th Edition and 2391 courses.
  • Desirable – Teaching or Assessing Qualification (PTTLS, A1 Assessors, etc.).
