We are seeking a motivated and skilled Workshop Engineering Tutor to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis at our Telford site. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone from the mechanical engineering industry who is looking to move into education and training, with full support provided.
The Role
- You will deliver a range of machining, milling and turning units, combining practical workshop-based teaching with underpinning theory.
- Teaching will be to Level 1-3 learners and apprentices, helping them develop the skills and knowledge required for successful careers in engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Delivering hands-on workshop sessions in machining, milling and turning
- Teaching associated theory to Level 1-3 learners and apprentices
- Ensuring high standards of health & safety and workshop practice
- Supporting learners' progress and achievement
Who We’re Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Engineering (essential - no higher qualification required)
- Relevant, current experience in the mechanical engineering industry
- Confidence working in a workshop environment
- A desire to train, mentor and develop future engineers

Salary & Benefits
