Astute's Nuclear Team is partnering with a leading specialist engineering business delivering innovative solutions for nuclear decommissioning, radioactive waste management, and waste treatment to recruit a Systems Engineer for its engineering team based in Twyford, Winchester.

We are looking for Systems Engineers across all levels of experience, with backgrounds in heavy regulated sectors.

Responsibilities and duties of the Systems Engineer role Reporting to the Manager you will: Develop systems engineering solutions in line with project requirements, company procedures and applicable standards.

Capture, manage and maintain technical and stakeholder requirements, ensuring appropriate traceability throughout the engineering lifecycle.

Support systems architecture development, functional modelling, interface definition and integration strategies.

Interpret technical requirements, specifications and stakeholder needs to develop robust engineering solutions.

Support systems integration, verification, validation, acceptance and technical assurance activities.

Produce, review and technically check systems engineering documentation, including requirements specifications, interface definitions, verification documentation and technical reports.

Participate in technical reviews, design reviews, peer reviews and assurance activities.

Work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams, project delivery teams, suppliers and customers to resolve technical issues.

Support engineering risk management, hazard identification and safety-focused engineering activities.

Contribute to configuration management, technical baselines, interface control and engineering change management.

Support integration, testing, commissioning and system acceptance where required. xdjnayx Provide technical input into bids, solution development, project planning and engineering estimates.
