Responsibilities and duties of the 132kV Mechanical Fitter role Reporting to the engineering manager you will: Assemble HV equipment up to 132kV Carry out testing, inspection and compliance checks Carry out oxy-propane brazing and exothermic welding where needed Adhere to strict health and safety site regulations Be prepared to stay away most weeks Monday-Friday Professional qualifications No formal qualifications required but we are looking for someone with the following experience: 5+ years experience as a 132kV fitter Experienced in assembling, testing and preparing HV equipment prior to energisation Experienced with oxy-propane brazing and exothermic welding JIB/ECS gold card is highly desirable 2391-52 testing
