The predicted salary is between 38400 - 89600 £ per year.

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager you will:

  • Leading and managing a team of electrical technicians to ensure the plant is maintained to the highest standard to ensure maximum plant availability.

  • Ensuring all electrical equipment (LV and HV) is correctly operated and maintained, including specialist equipment.

  • Scheduling, planning and optimising all electrical maintenance activities in a safe and efficient manner.

  • Supervising and directing contractors.

  • Working closely with the operations department to assess and review plant performance shortfalls and how these can be rectified.

  • To establish and work within an Electrical area budget.

  • Support with enhanced cyber security and software baselining and backup.

  • Support the Maintenance Manager with activities, including but not limited to internal & external audits, outage planning and recommendation of spare holdings.

  • Ensuring that all activities are carried out in a safe manner and in line with company Health, Safety and Environmental policies.

  • Relevant Electrical Engineering qualification such as HNC/HND/Degree.

  • Have previous experience in Electrical maintenance or engineering in a heavy process environment.

  • Have significant experience working with high voltage equipment, generators, transformers etc.

  • Have experience managing a team / supervising colleagues.

  • A Safety qualification such as IOSH / NEBOSH or equivalent, * Strong attention to detail

  • Ability to work in a time-conscious manner and effectively prioritise tasks
