About the role: Astute's Renewables Team is partnering exclusively with a key business and influential player in the UK Anaerobic Digestion market. The company are seeking to add a Plant Operator with hours between 7am-5pm, Monday to Friday. The Plant Operator role comes with an excellent salary and the chance to progress within the business as their portfolio builds out. Responsibilities and duties:
- Monitor the anaerobic digestion plant, ensuring optimal run time
- Support the Plant Manager to implement and achieve operational and personal targets
- Ensure that the plant is clean and tidy
- Feed the plant using a Telehandler
- Ensure that the extruders are running smoothly and attending to any issues
- Maintain all relevant site health, safety, quality and environmental standards
- Ensure that health and safety is adhered to at all times
- Perform visual checks of the plant, logging all findings
- Perform any housekeeping duties that need doing
- Other duties as required
Professional qualifications: We are looking for someone with the following: Telehandler licence or proven experience using and driving a Telehandler.
