Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a leading innovator in renewable energy production, specialising in biogas plants, to recruit a Stores Controller for their site in Buckie, Scotland and support across additional sites within their portfolio when needed. Responsibilities and duties of the Stores Controller role:
- Control all outgoing items and ensuring these are recorded against CMMS movements / PPMs (Planned Preventive Maintenance).
- Recording deliveries through the ready-to-receipt system and ensuring integration with relevant systems.
- Conducting daily stock checks of selected areas using CMMS inventory reports.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and periodic full stock audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Maintain and organise critical spare parts inventory ensuring key equipment spares are available to support operational uptime.
- Raising stock replenishment requests when minimum levels are reached.
- Track outstanding orders and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of critical parts.
- Implement Kanban replenishment systems.
