The Shift Operations Technician role comes with a starting salary of £43,871 + £6,594 shift allowance + location living allowance of £2,654 + up to 10% bonus + overtime + private medical + benefits.

Responsibilities and duties of the Shift Operations Technician role:
- Reporting to the Shift Team Leader, you will be responsible for using a DCS system to start, stop and monitor the steam turbine, steam boilers, pumps, water treatment plant and more.
- Ensuring the plant is operating within its parameters whilst complying with strict HSE rules and regulations as well as company policies and procedures.
- Performing plant walk rounds and daily checks to ensure equipment is operating correctly and efficiently.
- Monitoring of continuous emissions monitoring systems (CEMS) and performing corrective adjustments to the process when required.
- Providing technical supervision and assistance where necessary for company and contract staff.
