Astute's Power team are looking to recruit a Mechanical Quality Assurance Engineer on an Energy from Waste Project in North London on a 24-month minimum contract.
Key skills Help on develop and implementation of quality control plans and procedures specific to mechanical works.
Conduct regular inspections to identify any defects or non-compliance with specifications.
This involves checking materials, equipment, and workmanship to ensure they meet the required standards.
Documentation revision and keeping registers and control on the construction activity.
Monitor of the appropriate installation/erection to be done and inspection to be performed on each activity according to the ITP.
Planning and organizing inspection and testing activities at site using Inspection and Test forms approved.
Maintain all QC records in an orderly and easily accessible manner and address properly RFIs for closure.
Ensure that external and internal testing schedule conducted and test results are reviewed for compliance.
Must hold a Mechanical or Industrial degree with Welding and NDT Method knowledge Must hold Quality Assurance experience in an energy or similar heavy industrial project Must be IT literate Location, remuneration and timeframe of the Mechanical Quality Assurance Engineer role North London
