Responsibilities and duties of the Plant Manager role Reporting to the Operations Director you will: Take overall responsibility for the safe, efficient and compliant operation of the CHP plant.
Act as the Senior Authorised Person (SAP) for high-voltage electrical systems and switching operations.
Lead and develop operations, maintenance and engineering teams to achieve high performance standards.
Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, environmental and engineering regulations.
Manage statutory inspections, Written Schemes of Examination and asset integrity programmes.
Oversee planned outages, maintenance activities and contractor performance.
Drive plant reliability, efficiency and availability through effective operational management.
Manage site budgets, expenditure and operational performance against agreed targets.
